Collaboration

Collaboration

If you're building a new custom home or doing an extensive remodel of an existing home, your general contractor has the challenging task of assembling a team of trade professionals to deliver the end result you desire. Each trade has a piece of the project puzzle that fits together with the other trades. The low voltage company must also be a good collaborator with you, the client, as there are many technology choices that involve personal preference. There are also decisions that pertain to the aesthetics of your home so close communication with you and your interior designer is critical to achieving your vision.

Some examples of collaboration are:

~Providing the dimensions required for a motorized shade pocket to your architect/builder.

~Providing the dimensions of a recess for flush mounting a TV to your architect/builder.

~Collaborating with your interior designer about methods for concealing a flat-panel TV.

~Providing fabric samples of shade materials to your interior designer.

~Providing keypad samples to your interior designer.

~Providing a load schedule for the electrician.

~Specifying power requirements for equipment racks for the electrician.

~Specifying landscape speaker locations for your landscape architect.

~Providing speaker grills to the painter for paint-matching to the ceilings or walls.

At Electronic Services & Concierge we prioritize close relationships with other trades, knowing that early communication can prevent costly mistakes later in the project. We work with landscape architects, interior designers, electricians, painters, architects, HVAC contractors, and of course, your builder, to guarantee an efficient building process throughout all phases of construction. Most importantly, we provide the expertise and dedication to deliver an excellent technology experience. We are there to train, support, and service your technology purchase as long as you live in the home. This is why we have concierge in our name. It's not just a title, it's a commitment.
