Sound bars are ubiquitous. People want better sound with their TV, and the slim-line design of modern flat-panel TVs doesn't allow room for decent built-in speakers. While TV video technology has advanced considerably over the years, TV audio is actually worse than it used to be.
Sound bars address that problem effectively, with sound quality far beyond that which built-in TV speakers can provide. Not all are created equal, however. Triad, a small company in Oregon, has been raising the bar (pun intended) for TV sound and aesthetics for decades. They make them in customizable lengths by 1/8" increments up to 86 inches. They are available with multiple driver sizes to match various budgets and performance demands. They also come in a wide variety of finishes. The result is fantastic sound from a product that matches the width of the TV and the decor of the room.
